Skies of Waco

This weekend has been an active one for the skies over Waco. Friday evening on the way to the VBS closing program, Bob and I spotted these eight planes in formation near the Waco airport.


All weekend we have been spotting hot air balloonists around. This morning on the way to work, bunches of the balloons were taking off. I wished I didn't have to go to work and could have just stayed out and watch them. They are so beautiful. I snapped this photo out of the window while driving on IH-35.


I saw in the paper that the National Hot Air Balloon Championships are here this week. I'll have to check out their website it listed at http://www.bfa.net/.
