We have been adding on to our barn, making it 33% larger in preparation for winter. We hope to be able to store more hay and be able to feed the herd under roof.
Bob has done it almost totally by himself. With a little help from .... and the Tunis sheep.... and the miniature horses.
Batman one of our miniature stallions, was very interested in the skill saw.
News and photos from our Miniature Horse and Tunis Sheep farm are published here as well as on our websites at www.unicornerfarm.com and www.tunis-sheep.com. We love our minis and we think you will too. We added some pretty red-headed sweeties to the farm...a flock of registered Tunis sheep. We also have a Quarter Horse mother and daughter and a draft "rescue" mare. Three curious llamas round out the big animals. And last but not least, two inside cats and two outside!

Two new mares join the herd at Unicorner Farm
We bought two little mares last weekend from friends of ours in North Texas. Dorinda did a good job training these little mares, we are happy to have them.
The little black & white pinto mare is "Way Too Precious", really. She is a sweet little thing, about 31 inches tall. She has been trained to do some obstacle work.
We have loved Lady in Red since we first saw her. Lady is only 28 inches SHORT. That makes her our smallest miniature horse on the farm.
She's also a nice little performance mini, having won many awards in obstacle and jumping. Maybe we will get back in the ring.
